|Middle Ranch Horse Boarding|
Board includes feed, cleaning, and full use of the services offered at the facility at which you choose to board. The horses are fed alfalfa hay twice a day. Other kinds of hay are supplied depending on availability and demand.
For safety and security reasons, there is a residence located at each facility, which is occupied by ranch personnel. Each ranch has perimeter fencing and gates that are locked after business hours.
Horse trails in this area are plentiful and offer the rider a variety of choices ranging from easy comfortable trails to more challenging rides. The Angeles National Forest borders Middle Ranch on three sides, providing a picturesque setting for trail riding. Trail access is available from the ranche.
Because large ranches are a rare find in the Los Angeles area, many people think Middle Ranch is far from their homes. To the contrary, Middle Ranch is only two minutes from the 210 Freeway and close to many major cities in the Los Angeles area.
Middle Ranch, located at 11700 North Little Tujunga Canyon Road, is largely dedicated to those interested in training and showing their horses. This facility has box stalls only. Most of the stalls measure 12 feet by 14 feet, with a few larger stalls measuring 14 feet by 18 feet. Every stall has a dutch door that opens so that the horses may look outside. The barns are made of concrete block, heavy timber trusses, and clay tile roofing. This combination of materials, along with a few strategically placed dormers, helps keep the horses more comfortable in the warmer months.
The Ranch provides individual tack lockers, cross-ties, hot walkers, wash racks, turnouts, and a jump chute. Also available are eight lighted riding arenas including two dressage arenas, a covered arena with 100 feet of continual mirrors, and a grass field which may be ridden on for practice prior to "away shows."
Middle Ranch is extensively landscaped with trees, bushes, flowers, and grassy areas for your horse to graze.
The board at either ranch includes full use of the clubhouse. The clubhouse contains administrative offices, large lounge areas with two fireplaces, a residential kitchen, and a conference/banquet room. Next to the clubhouse are men's and women's locker and shower rooms. Behind the clubhouse is a spacious patio with a swimming pool, spa, and a tennis court. Family members of clientele are welcome to use the club facilities.
